Have you ever "really" looked at the details of the Landscape and Seascapes around us? I know I hadn't until one of my early painting instructors told me that once I started painting I would never see the beauties of nature the same again. How right he was. Now I see ordinary things like the limbs of a tree, fluffy white clouds or crashing waves all differently and as something I "really" want to capture with a paint brush.
The pictures in the gallery reflect the progress of my newly found (rather late in life) interest in expressing the beauty of nature's landscapes and sparkling waters of the beautiful North West. Some of these areas include paintings from around my own home t
he ever changing Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.
A quick review of my Biography and my recent artist statement will introduce you to my life's experiences and gives some insights to my techniques and painting aspirations. The web site represents my endeavors to date, as new paintings are completed they will be

I am thinking about a "Blog" section so we can get into group discussions about art and other current subjects but as I said at the moment I am just thinking about it, you could let me know your thoughts, It would be helpful in making that commitment.
