Living in Canada with it's natural captivating beauty has greatly affected my choice of painting. My vision has been expanded to include the splendor of my surroundings. Nature. memories and life experiences play a significant role in my creations.
My desire is to guide the viewers eye beyond the natural boundaries of my paintings. This encourages the viewer to use their own imagination on where my painting might or might not be going, therefore the viewers become a very important part of the creation's process. Thus I think of my art as a partnership between myself and my viewers.
My medium of choice is Acrylics because of the medium's versatility, colour and fast drying these are key on how this medium affects my work.
The more realism I can put in my paintings the more satisfaction I gain from my efforts.
